Clarion Resort Fontainebleau Hotel deploys IP-Surveillance solution from Avrio Group
Avrio Group has completed the installation of an IP-Surveillance solution for the Clarion Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland. After seeing a demonstration of the features of the network video management system, hotel management decided to upgrade and expand upon its existing antiquated analog system.
By replacing the existing analog cameras with IP cameras from Sony they were able to significantly improve the video quality throughout the complex. In addition, because of the ease of adding new cameras, the hotel has improved overall coverage by adding new cameras in areas where surveillance did not exist. As a result of the new system, overall security and guest safety has improved dramatically. Management can now easily monitor activity in many of the public areas as well as employee work areas of the hotel.
“The major benefit of this system is that we can easily add new cameras in areas we determine as problematic from a security or safety standpoint. We are no longer limited by our old proprietary system.” said, Mark Elman, Assistant General Manager.
