Avrio Group merges with Protean Solutions, LLC
Today, Avrio Group announced an agreement to combine operations with Protean Solutions, LLC, a premier provider of rugged communications systems and trailers primarily sold to the Department of Defense. The merger strengthens Avrio’s portfolio by adding additional portable surveillance capabilities for harsh environment deployments. In addition, with this merger Protean can bring their technology and capabilities into the commercial and local government sector.
Mark Jules, Chief Executive Officer of Protean will become President, Business Development and Strategic Initiatives for Avrio Group.
Darrin Lipscomb will remain President and Chief Operating Officer, while Nick Theofiles will remain CEO of the combined entity.
