Avrio Group releases new version of the RD Tactical Tripod unit
Avrio Group announced today that the Rapid Deployment Surveillance System (RDSS) 2.0 was released to include a new version of the RD Tactical Tripod unit that gives law enforcement personnel the ability to provide video surveillance in a moment’s notice. Avrio Group signed an agreement with AgileMesh to provide the core technology for the RD Tactical Unit.
The RD Tactical Tripod can be used by tactical teams or security personnel to establish video surveillance covering large areas in a matter of minutes. The tripod is light weight and completely portable and runs on battery for up to 4 hours of operation. The rugged PTZ camera supports up to 18x zoom. It is truly a plug and play solution, ideal for hostage situations or special events monitoring.
The Rapid Deployment Surveillance System (RDSS) provides municipalities and government organizations with a comprehensive integrated surveillance system. Traditional city-wide deployments use fixed cameras, and a multitude of proprietary DVRs for recording and playback. This approach requires sophisticated cabling, expensive integrations and leaves the city with a rigid system that is unable to adapt to evolving crime. With RDSS, we have integrated multiple camera devices into a single, unified software platform. Whether the need is to quickly deploy live monitoring and recording in a tactical environment such as a hostage situation, easily move cameras around the city for month or year long deployments, or setup solar powered camera trailers, RDSS provides a low-cost integrated approach.
