Wireless Mesh Networks
Wireless mesh technologies can dramatically reduce deployment costs and address unique security and wireless access requirements. Consider the requirements for miles of train track or an oil/gas pipeline or simply the perimeter of a building. These all have at least one thing in common: it has been impractical or impossible to use traditional wired network solutions. With mesh technology, you can easily install, change, move and remove the video network. The mesh network functions as a virtual Ethernet switch allowing connectivity of multiple wireless access points, video cameras, video encoders, motion detectors, etc.
